Research
Undergraduate research is one of the most important steps students can take if they are interested in gaining hands-on experience in any of the various subfields of cognitive science. Research opportunities allow students to establish a strong working relationship with a faculty member in their domain of interest. In addition, these experiences teach students how to search scholarly literature, pose novel research questions, design cutting-edge research projects, collect data, and analyze results to advance our understanding of mental processes.
Opportunities to Publish and Present Your Work
Students have opportunities to communicate their findings by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and by presenting at the School of Arts & Sciences' annual Student Research Symposium and at national and international conferences.
